Join us for the Full-day Dementia Care Training this March, where we'll equip you with the right knowledge to care for your loved ones.
Caring for the elderly with dementia can be stressful hence, this course will also equip caregivers with the knowledge and practical skills to manage stress and prevent burnout. This course is meant to equip caregivers with the basic and essential knowledge and skills to care for the elderly with dementia. Participants will learn about dementia, the various stages, as well as how to manage behaviours and engage the care recipient with meaningful activities. Through classroom participation, caregivers are also able to form a social support network with other caregivers.

*Co-payment: $60 minimum (Submit the form to check your eligibility for the subsidy)
*Pay as low as $60 when you qualify for AIC grants, such as the Caregiver Training Grant (CTG). You can also use your Home Caregiving Grant (HCG) to offset the course fees.

The training will be conducted by a licensed Registered Nurse who has relevant experience in managing dementia patients in a home and institutional setting.
